Flow measurements are greatly affected by changes in supply air pressure, especially when the pressure level is low. The G620 eliminates pressure regulator fluctuations or supply air pressure fluctuations by providing overpressure for measurement from an internal tank during measurement.
The G620 instrument is ideal for checking gas appliances and for all leak detection tasks where small volumes need to be checked.
Compared to traditional pressure measurement instruments (ATEQ F series machines), the G series measures the volume of the flowing medium using the capillary principle, i.e. it directly measures the volume flow rate.
Key features:
Flexible communication channels:
Flow measurement range and accuracy:
| Capillary measurement limit | Accuracy* |
| 100 cm³/h | ± (0.51% of the displayed value + 11% of the measurement range) |
| 1000 cm³/h | ± (0.25% of the displayed value + 1% of the measurement range) |

A major advantage and unique feature of the instrument is that during measurement, the internal tank (2) provides overpressure, creating a quasi-stationary state, so that the measurement is not affected by pressure regulator fluctuations or mains pressure fluctuations. The instrument measures leakage by measuring the pressure drop across a capillary tube (3) that ensures laminar flow, which is measured with high accuracy and sensitivity by ATEQ's proprietary differential sensor (4).
During measurement, the pressure in the system is measured by a piezo sensor (5).
A major advantage of the instrument is that it continuously displays the measurement results, allowing the operator to intervene during measurement to reduce the extent of leakage.
During the measurement period, the instrument calculates the pressure and the minimum pressure drop caused by leakage.
