Accurate measurement of leakage and flow meters can be easily verified in everyday use by using a master leak or master flow (calibrated standard). These etalons, which can be inserted in the measuring circuit with a quick coupling, generate a known leakage or flow, and if our instrument measures a corresponding value, we can still trust the goodness of our measuring system.
