ATEQ flowmeters can measure a wide range of air flow rates, from 1 cm3/min to 10 000 l/h, depending on the configuration.
For smaller flow rates, leakage is more appropriate, but for larger flow rates, flow is more appropriate.
ATEQ instruments are typically capable of measuring air flow, with some instruments available in a configuration suitable for measuring natural gas (LPG).
The measuring principle is based on the measurement of the pressure drop suffered by a gas flowing through a capillary, so the measurement range of the instrument is determined by the diameter of the capillary (its permeability in the laminar range).
The instruments can be used in both direct mode and indirect mode, i.e. the instrument can pass in front of the part to be measured in the measuring system and the air can escape from the part to the outside. Indirect measurement gives a faster measurement result, in which case a constant pressure must be ensured in front of the component and the air flowing through the component must be fed into the instrument.
